LemonTree Highland Park (Coming Soon!)
In the booming creative enclave of Highland Park, Los Angeles, 7500 sq ft of raw commercial space has been designed and calculated for optimal acoustic performance by Architect David Wick and Acoustic Engineer, John Matagos, MEng, ISVR University of Southampton. Bob Yeomans of Barling Construction, will execute the building of twelve new recording studio spaces that will exemplify collaboration through the design, layout out and connectivity of the facility, defining the standard for modern music making.
LemonTree’s new Highland Park location will occupy the basement level of the historic “Frank’s Camera” building at 5717 N Figueroa St, just steps from the Metro Gold Line. In addition to our private audio production lock-outs, the building will also feature a speakeasy, restaurant, deli, barbershop and creative offices.
Studios range in size from 13’ x 17’, to 14’ x 22’ featuring “room within a room” dual frame, multi-layer walls, discreet electrical circuitry, solid core double doors, polished cement floors, per studio independent AC control, acoustic room tuning and sound treatments.
LemonTree’s Highland Park studios will be fully networked for recording using the Focusrite Rednet Ethernet platform, including to a 650 sq ft live room for your live recording beyond the control room.
LemonTree reflects the creativity, taste and standards that today’s enterprising audio professional and their clients demand and deserve.
Music is made up out of these building blocks. Studying how these blocks go together and what they consist of and the math of how it works – it’s all the same stuff; it’s just different aesthetics that we’re talking about.– Flea
